Ami Weintraub

With over 31 years of experience behind the chair, Ami is a master of haircutting and a trained professional by an Intercoiffure salon, her technical precision and artistry in cutting have earned her a loyal following.

For the first 20 years of her career, Ami worked in commission-based salons, refining her craft and building her reputation. She later embraced entrepreneurship by opening her own salon suite, where she spent eight years expanding her skills to include color services and learning the ins and outs of running a successful small business.

While she no longer takes on new color clients, Ami is happy to provide expert haircuts and gladly refers clients to talented colorists and stylists she collaborates with at My Girl.

After nearly a decade in a private suite, Ami began renting a chair in a salon—where she reconnected with her longtime co-worker Katie. Their shared vision and love for the industry led them to open their own salon, creating a supportive space for independent stylists who want the freedom of self-employment in a vibrant, collaborative salon environment.

Beyond the salon, Ami is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, passionate about helping others achieve their goals and live their best lives. She believes in living life to its fullest and brings that same energy and care to everything she does. She’s also a major dog lover and music enthusiast, always up for a good playlist and a great conversation.
